Return & Refund Policy

There is no match to either the quality or the beauty of a handloom saree. Before you exchange a product, kindly consider how these products are made.  All our sarees are handcrafted by womens weavers from rural parts of our country. A weaver, sitting in a remote village, takes 3 to 10 days to weave a saree. Depending on the complexity, he moves his hands and legs 20,000 – 50,000 times. Therefore, please do not consider an irregular weave or a stitch as a defect. Characteristic of a handloom fabric is to contain natural irregularities. This gives them a natural beauty and are hallmarks of handloom products.

Low Ranges which menioned BQ Sarees, Embroidery Sarees, Printed Sarees & All Varieties which are made to order sarees and hence are not eligible for Exchange Or Return.

Replacement Policy:

  1. By submitting clear unpacking video (must show Order No, AWB & affected areas) if found any damage or wrong item reaches we accept return of item or a one time replacement is provided.
  2. Intimation for returning the saree should be provided within 24 hours from the date of delivery.
  3. Products returned should be in original condition, unwashed, unused, unaltered and should have original tags/labels in place and folds intact and returned along with the invoice. No exchange is allowed for items which when received, do not have proper folding, missing invoice and damaged or not in saleable condition.
  4. Since our products are majorly handloom we do not commit any return / exchange in cases of weaving artifacts such as weft direction faults, loose weft, warp streaks, tight or slack pick, tails out, etc.
  5. The following products shall not be eligible for exchange :- 
    A. Weaving irregularities are hallmark of handloom products, and are not eligible for exchange
    B. Minor color discrepancies between website display and product received
    C. Any product that has been damaged or worn by you, will not be exchanged

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation by the User

  1. The User can cancel an order after the order has been placed through the Platform and before the order has been dispatched by the supplier.

How can the User cancel an order?

  1. In order to cancel, the User can go to ‘My Orders’ in your ‘Profile’. Once you are redirected to the My Orders page, click on the order of the product that you want to cancel. Click on cancel Order and provide the reason for the cancellation from the options provided.

Cancellation by Milaans

Milaans may cancel the order for the following reasons:

  1. If the address to which the Product is to be delivered is not serviceable;
  2. If the delivery of the Product has been unsuccessful and the Product has been returned to the warehouse;
  3. If the Product has been lost during transit;
  4. If the payment has made through online methods by the User and Milaans did not get payment confirmation;
  5. If the shipping address or billing address provided by the User is incomplete or incorrect;
  6. If Milaans does not get user confirmation during delivery;

Return & Refund Policy :

The refund will be credited to the same source of payment (bank accounts, UPI etc.) from which payment was received. If the User has chosen any other method such as wallets, the mount will be credited to the source of origin as well. If the order is prepaid and the item is no longer in stock or the weaver/craftsman is unable to manufacture it, the purchase price will be refunded within the next 24 hours or any damage or defective item received whether prepaid or postpaid. Refunds will be issued to the customer within 3-7 working days, after the return of the refund request item to the Milaans warehouse.

Will the discount vouchers or other such promotional offers be reinstated?

If the User has used any discount vouchers or promotional offers when placing the order which has been canceled, the discount vouchers or promotional offers will be forfeited.

Process to Exchange

Please pack the saree in the same courier cover received and Kindly make sure that the Saree is in the same original condition as it was received with Folds and Tags intact, since it will be checked for these parameters before approving for One Time Exchange . 🙏

Please inform the customer service on our support whatsapp for Exchange Request Within 24hours from time Time of delivery. Pickup will be scheduled and communicated to you by our customer service dept **🙏

Once Your Returned for Exchange Parcel is Approved, you will be receiving an email with the One Time Redeemable Exchange Coupon Code using which you can pick any Saree of equivalent value of your choice against the returned Saree.🙏

How to apply the Redeemable code?

This Redeemable Code can be used as a Coupon to Redeem the equivalent value of the Product purchased by you🙏

Note : We will schedule a single pickup for your exchange, and we kindly request that you ensure the correct product, as per the instructions mentioned above, is handed over during the pickup. Please note that in the event a wrong product is sent to us, any associated shipping costs for the return to you will need to be borne by the customer.
